THE BACK STORY

Ground Level founders are two local small business owners, Andy from The Good Machine and Athena from TechLever.

They met during a strange time, as the pandemic hit Victoria hard, and Checkpoint Charlie signs were still about in the west.

Catching up on the phone regularly to bounce ideas off each other. They recognised that this action alone, is what gave that extra bounce in their step.

In late 2021, they started a club that brought together people who shared the same fundamental value —  how can we help each other.

Our members come with a giving mindset, to learn, collaborate and co-develop. The types of business range in industries, from service providers to retailers – there are no exclusions or limitations on where people come from.

Our format cuts out intimidating networking, meeting go for 1.5 hours.

You are seated with up to 10 people for a meeting. Everyone has a voice, as each table has a host.

We keep minutes so you can just talk.

Our meeting have think tank segment, which enables you to bring up a challenge to the group. People are invited to share their experiences, so that you can learn from your peers and see if those approaches might work for you.

  • Productise your expertise through Member Collabs: we handle the logistics and marketing so you can test, refine, and launch a repeatable service to a warm audience.

Meetups are held in venues in Melbourne’s inner west.
